Finding your personal style can be an elusive and evolving process, but there’s no denying the power and euphoria of stepping out with confidence when you know you’ve nailed your look!
For some of us it’s a signature item – think Jackie O and her oversize sunglasses, Marilyn’s love affair with the color white, or Audrey Hepburn’s signature black dress. If you have a go-to that always feels right, build around it.
Is there something people always seem to compliment you on when you wear it? Whether it’s your accessory game, your ability to style a dress and make it yours, or something else, these are the strengths you should build into your always evolving personal style.
Think about your style personality. And if you’re like me, on a given day your personality may venture into another look altogether! But the look that always feels right and dominates most of your wardrobe is probably a good indicator of where you align.
Not sure? Here are 5 tips to help you find your personal style:
This one is not for everyone because I know a few people might not be into this look, but bare with me on this one. Sportswear is comfortable, SO comfortable and there is always a way to dress it up a little so it doesn’t look like you just came out of the gym.
This GLFRND sweatpants are the bomb because of the extra details on the waist. Having the ruffled scrunched waist gives them that extra “cool factor” and if this was the Summer, I would have wore them with a cropped t-shirt. I have this thing about wearing sweatpants with sock boots and I think it works perfectly, but that’s just me.
What do you think of dressed up sporty looks? Yay or nay?

I’ve wanted to do this post for SOOOO LONG but for some reason, I haven’t gotten around to do it, until now and I am glad, because this was such a fun post to work on! I wanted to show you that with just minor changes, you can get away with wearing the same thing every day and probably nobody will be pointing fingers out you.
I told my best friend and business partner; I bet that if I wore the same look everyday for a week, you wouldn’t even notice.
He said; Of course I would! -Which could be the case, considering we shoot almost every single day and you would think that this fact alone would make him notice what I’m wearing right?, nope. On top of this, I was absofreakinglutely certain that my boyfriend wouldn’t notice, nor would my friends or you guys on instagram, so I began with the experiment to prove my self I was right…
My base look every day for 5 days was the same black turtle neck, black knitter mini skirt, black pair of tights (I did change those haha) and the same pair of chunky Chelsea boots. That base didn’t change at all during the week, everything else on top was an attempt to keep warm and obviously, try deviate the attention from the fact that I was literally wearing the same thing underneath for 5 days straight and of course, pimp my lewk.

When it comes to colour combinations, camel and light blue are one of those matches made in heaven. As my style evolves I find myself leaning towards neutral colours, even though I sometimes tend to throw a pop pf colour HERE and THERE. At the end of the day, neutrals are always a winning strategy and a great base for any look.

Sizing up on blazers and jackets has always been a strategy of mine, it always seems to make garments more chic in my opinion. Sizing up has its tricks tho and it might not be for everyone, but I do encourage you to try it when you go shopping next time.
This coat might be borderline too big for me but in fairness it is not mine, but my boyfriends. I have been looking for a long herringbone coat for along time but since I am quite tall, most coats tend to be short on me. My boyfriends coat is quite long so to try make up for the width, I decided to belt it and make to make it a little more synched at the waist.
